Donald, your writer's vocabulary, indicative of this field of art is intense and has drawn me in with How to Write a Book. As a semi-novice, this would tend to make me weak in continuing. As an artist myself, the new words stimulate and give new content to familiar phrases.

During Christmas last year I purchased Blue Like Jazz, and am following my friend, associate, Ben, who is on the circuit with the film right now. Your frankness invited me in, so I read the book in one weekend to enjoy what you had to say. By the close, I thought we were friends and you had shared your recent experience in college over a hamburger and fries, at my favorite, Boxwood Bistro, here in Franklin, TN.

This year in a challenge, I have consistently written what I have sparsely roughed over the past 16. Your style, method, breaks down the wall of separating me from wanting to write my story and doing it. Hurrah! thx. M
