If you’d like to bring the Million Miles in a Thousand Years tour to your town, please read the following:
In September, when A Million Miles in a Thousand Years hits bookstores, I’ll be setting out on a 65-city tour. We are just starting to figure out the route, and have certain cities we have to hit. But if you have a venue, or know of a venue you think would house about 1500 people (think of the churches or schools where you’ve seen lots of concerts) would you let us know? Chafee Management is routing the tour as we speak. Here is an early description of the evening, just so you can pass it along to those who would be housing the event:

A Million Miles in a Thousand Years,
An Evening with Donald Miller and Friends
While turning his New-York-Times bestselling memoir into a screenplay, Donald Miller discovered his life was too boring to be turned into a film, and he decided to do something about it. In An Evening with Donald Miller, you’ll hear a hilarious and yet heartwarming story of one man who decided to edit his life, and as the audience comes along they will learn how to live a more meaningful, exciting and purposeful story of their own.
After a long hiatus from public speaking the author of the spiritually relevant and wildly popular memoir Blue Like Jazz returns to the public arena for an unprecedented 65 city national tour.

come to my town. you can speak at my house.
Down I-5 in Eugene, outdoors of course. No mega-church for a venue, but we have a couple great parks!
Mount Vernon Nazarene University
Mount Vernon, Ohio

We’re close to Columbus!
I’ve noticed a few plugs for Canada – I’d have to add that Manitoba is just a hop, skip and jump away from Minneapolis! Many venues in Winnipeg that would be great – Church of the Rock, Springs Church, Grant Memorial Baptist Church, Canadian Mennonite University, etc. Oh yeah, we’ll also be recovering from the latest flood so we could use some cheering up!
London, England!!! I know you can do it!
Seriously, we would love to have you here across the pond, you are such an inspiration.
xx
When you come to Denver (notice the when!), stop by Colorado Christian University. We could use some lively spice around here!
Please come to Burlington, Vermont…
Namely, because it’s incredibly beautiful (you should see the tourists flock in the fall!) and, secondly, because I’d consider it a grand favor.
Should I continue? I can come up with lots more reasons if you like…
Be blessed.

Please come to Knoxville, TN! I’m in high school and all of my friends would love to meet you!
please come back to Memphis, TN. Maybe Hope Pres. Church would host you again.
