I’m gonna be over the Kindle and similar products. My mom just got one, and she loves it. She can access all these books instantly and it’s easy on her eyes and blah blah blah. But I bet it doesn’t have that yummy new book smell, or that yummy old book smell for that matter (new feature? I get the money for it if that happens ever). You can’t collect Kindles to lovingly pack every time you move even though you don’t need all you Kindles in your more spacious apartment in a worse neighborhood. Plus, I can’t start a conversation with you about your Kindle when I recognize the cover or the author’s name on the subway or bus or coffee shop or wherever. Yes, I will decide to be vehemently over fake books.

i never want to hear MGMT again. at least not for 2 months.

living in a ski town and having both major and homemade snowboard videos with that same soundtrack has gotten old. freaking MGMT. “a family of trees???”
