We are nearly finished booking the Million Miles Tour. I’ll be hitting the road, speaking in 65 cities this fall. In about a month, I’ll post the names of the cities, and information about when and where I will be. I’m very much looking forward to hitting the road with this book. Susan Isaacs will be out with me and she is very funny, so it should be a good night for all. We still have several cities we want to hit but are looking for the right venue. If you happen to live in or near one of these cities, and could host an event on one of these dates, do contact my booking agency.

What?! No Portland?! Spread the love Don!
it may be a little small, but you should use Ecclesia’s Taft street space when you’re in Houston.
Boo, no Dallas.
Haha, yeah i just saw the 1000 plus requirement…
Come to South Bend.
No Orlando/Central FL? I have a potential venue or two in mind. And Florida’s awesome in November!
Also… Susan Isaacs too? Hmm. I think a road trip to Jax might be in order…
Waco!
West coast anyone? VEGAS even?
Oh dear…no Austin? I have a connection at BookPeople downtown if you want to squeeze us in between Houston and Waco.
And I won’t read the book if you don’t.
(That’s not true of course…I’m looking forward to it!)
Oops…never mind. I see that it’s a speaking tour, not a bookstore tour.
But come to Austin anyway.
South Bend is definitely the best choice
SO excited to see Asheville on the list!!!
hoping someone from the Mentoring Project will be on hand at some of these venues to help you get the 1000 church partnership…we’re very interested in jumping on board here on the East Coast.
Where’s L.A.??
South Bend. South Bend. South Bend.
Yes…I’m wondering where the Portland date is too!
KC or St. Louis!!!
Sorry, that was supposed to be…KC OVER St. Louis!
Please tell me there is a stop in California…Bay Area…Sacramento…Central Valley…anywhere close?
Come to the Northeast!
Just read on your Twitter that you’re interviewing Dan Allender and Trempar Longman. Haven’t heard Trempar, but have sat in Dan’s classes at Mars Hill with my husband this past year (he’s getting his counseling degree). An amazing man with so many gold nuggets of wisdom.
I really hope you guys make it into PA! It would be awesome beyond words.
No Phoenix stop? 5th largest city in the union? I hate not living in a “hip” town…
It would be great if you guys could come to my church, Grace Community Church. It’s in Noblesville, IN, a northern suburb of Indianapolis and has a new auditorium that seats 1,500, I think. That would be so much fun!
I’m not seeing Denver on there…you would be the one speaker I would probably go see. lol
i don’t have any contact info to these places, but what about Agustana College or USF in Sioux falls, sd?
don’t bother with Waco, just come to Lubbock. West Texas could use some flavor…
Please say you’ll be coming to San Francisco!
Lubbock! You want Lubbock!
I am going to be one of the many people that says, “Boo, no ____ “…
So booooo, no New Orleans, Baton Rouge….
oh PLEASE come to st. louis!!
I’m glad to see that you are venturing into the midwest.
I am from St. Louis, attend Saint Louis University, had your book assigned in a theology class, and have experience setting up events. I’m a huge fan, and am prepared to take the necessary steps to change the “Kansas City or St. Louis” date into a “Saint Louis” date. I am currently e-mailing my theology department to get support for hosting you on campus. Expect to be hearing from me.
Thank you for all that you do!

Hi Don, I see you are pretty busy upcoming months with your book tour. I would love to hear you speak, but the locations mentioned are kinda far. If you come over to the Netherlands, I’ll fix a venue, ok? I think you would really like it here, and here likes you too.
Cheers,
Anna
Looking forward to the final list for the tour, hoping you land near enough to the hinterlands of East Texas for me to jaunt to a nearby city.
I’m willing to commit to a long(-ish) daytrip, but I’m not ready to make a million-mile drive.
CHICAGO, IL!!!!!!!!!!!
Willowcreek or something?
I don’t think that list is the offical list. Those are the cities he probably wants to visit but has no host. I am sure there are much more cities, thats a short list for a book tour of a best seller.
Don, I put in a word for Celebration Church in Jacksonville, FL and asked if they could host, gave them the links and everything. I hope you do come, I live out here and would love to meet you finally.
Peace, and God Bless!
-Steve
Anyway I could convince you to come out to NJ?
You should come to Lipscomb University when you are in Nashville on October 15th! I know there are several people that would love to hear you speak there.
Great call on Asheville, NC. UNC Asheville is a lot like the school you write about in Blue Like Jazz.
Just contacted your agency for September. Sad that you aren’t really coming anywhere near the upper midwest that we know of yet. It’s probably time that you visited the ‘ya sure ya betchas’!
Yeah where’s the northeast? I give out Blue Like Jazz to every one of our sr. high graduates; everyone loves Don Miller up here. By the way, I read some of the exerts of a Million Miles in some of the new Blue…Jazz and I really liked what I read. Especially the story of the dad, the orphanage and the rebellious teen-age daughter. Looking forward to the book, Don.
Hey, after I get back from our mission trip, I’m going to look into this because I think living in north Jersey/NYC Metro area we could do this. So if Brittany & Christine Slobidin want to contact me, please do so.
Sorry if this comment gets duplicated, don’t think it worked the first time.
Yeah, we would love to have Don come to the northeast. I give out Blue Like Jazz to every sr. high graduate (in our small church), everyone loves Don! Seriously, we live in the north jersey/nyc metro area, I’m sure many would be interested.
Also, I read some of the exerts in the new Blue …Jazz and I really liked what I read. Especially liked the dad-orphanage-angry teenage daughter story. Looking forward in reading more.
We’re leaving for a mission trip tomorrow but I’ll be following up on this so if any north easterners want to come to Montvale, please contact me via my blog.
If you need any volunteers to work a booth or anything else while in and around Texas… please let us at Ecclesia know!
Are you planning at all to leave the US?? I would love to have you over in London, UK!!
xx
Don, I don’t see Chicago…that is unfortunate for you:) Willow Creek, Christ Community Church in St. Charles…come on brother!
Oh Don, I just moved from Tyler, TX to Oregon, and you aren’t speaking in OR??? Staarange..
Nothing in California at all, so said. Loved your talk at Fresno Pacific last year, was hoping to see you speak again this year.
Don,
Willowcreek maybe able to host. Shoot me an email when you get a chance: bhogan@willowcreek.org
Aww, WA but no Seattle?
Waco over Lubbock. Baylor can host you for sure.
