As much as we learn to actively seek and live our lives, we also have the sensation of being "picked" for an experience at times. I am facing new choices and challenges unlike any I've probably faced in the last 22 years since my first child was born. It can be hard to recreate a meaningful life when the last many years have been filled to the brim with "raising pups"! It is indeed painful, and beautiful, and frightening, and exciting! Thanks for sharing that truth, "Lucy".
